Leading Strategic Change and Innovation (LSCI) Leadership Program

The Potential Group has been supporting leaders to lead profound change for over 30 years. Our generative approach to change leadership has been leveraged by health and academic organizations across Canada. As we do our work, we have noticed that leaders across these sectors have capacity for initiating and launching change; the challenge often occurs around sustaining engagement and maintaining momentum. Sustainable change in a complex system is a dance between reinforcing a galvanizing vision, implementing concrete and measurable goals, and adapting to changing environment and emerging ideas.

Leading Strategic Change and Innovation (LSCI) is a 9 month coaching and learning program for leaders who are looking to enhance their effectiveness in leading strategy and change through relevant, practical and timely learning and thought partnership with peers and highly skilled leadership coaches/consultants. The program is especially meaningful for clients who want to build upon and leverage planning work already done to bring key initiatives to life.

Our flagship learning program is our 9 month Leading Strategic Change and Innovation Leadership program.

Program Elements:

  • Four one-day workshops to share models, tools and perspectives on strategy and change leadership

  • 7 individual coaching sessions for each participant

  • Opportunity to engage additional coaching at a discounted

The Potential Group teaches and develops with you tools to leverage the strengths, intentions and successes your teams already have to create momentum (aka enthusiasm) to move your projects forward. Whether it is patient and staff safety, team resilience or a new initiative, the skills I learned help me and the team recognize what is working well and how to use that knowledge to direct and energize all for the work ahead.

Fees and How to Apply

Fees: The cost of this program is $5900, which includes all workshops and coaching sessions for the year. Discounted Rate: $4500 if you apply before July 31, 2025. (Discounted rates and bursaries are available for organizations and people from equity-deserving groups - see below).

Note: Three of the four workshops are virtual and take place on Zoom; the other one may be in person in Toronto. All coaching sessions are virtual and take place with on Zoom or by phone

Bursaries Available

As part of our commitment to equity and inclusion, we are offering a bursary to support two participants, free of charge, to participate in this year’s Leading Strategic Change and Innovation (LSCI) program.

The bursary is open to young leaders and people from underserved groups or who are working with marginalized populations.  If you or someone you know works in the health or academic sector with a strong commitment to driving meaningful change, but face financial barriers to access - we encourage you to apply. This is a unique opportunity to gain access to nine months of interactive learning, peer discussion, and expert coaching to help you sustain momentum and lead more effectively in complex systems.
